Before I explain how you can do that, I will tell you how it works. Have you heard about cookies? No, not that chocolate one. Cookies in terms of computer are different thing. It is actually a log text file which is created when you log in by Facebook servers. These files mainly consist of your data or information like browser name, IP address, locality, etc. along with a session ID. Facebook creates two cookies. One is stored in your system or mobile phone browser and one is saved in Facebook databases. Whenever you click or do anything in your account, the system will match your cookies with Facebook database and if it matches then only you can see other page. This is done on every activity you do. Even on simple action of liking a post! So when you are performing this, actually you are deleting the cookies from Facebook databases. So whenever you delete cookies, that means you are logging out from that device. Simple isn’t it?
Steps For Logging Out From Other Device
- First of all, log in to your account with other safe system.
- After that, click on “Account settings”.

- Click on “Security” tab.
- In the Security tab, click on “Active Sessions”.
- Now you may see all devices from which you have logged in.
- Find that device that you want to remove or log out your account.
- After finding, click on “End Activity”.
